
It matters a lot. Grade-A cells come from major cell makers (like CATL, EVE, REPT) with full quality testing — rated for 6,000+ cycles. Grade-B cells are lower-grade or rejected batches with shorter life and inconsistent capacity. Both can be assembled into a “48V 100Ah” case. The Grade-B battery may look identical on day one but lose capacity within 1–2 years. That is why a cheap battery is rarely cheap over its lifetime.
